Our licensed acupuncturists are all certified in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and diligently work to find the best holistic solutions for their patients. The Center is happy to have a staff that works together, not only as practitioners, but as a family.

Massage Therapist

Anthony "Tony" Ruiz grew up in

Toledo, OH until joining the U.S. Marine Corps in 2003. While Serving 5 years as a KC-130 Flight Mechanic, stationed in Okinawa, Japan, and finishing in Fort Worth, TX, Tony began studying kinesiology at American Military University. Upon Honorable Discharge, he received his Bachelors of Science in Sports and Health Sciences in 2009. Tony became a licensed massage therapist in November 2010, specializing in deep tissue, sports, myofascial, postural correction, therapeutic, and prenatal massage. He is married to Amy, with 2 children, Gabby and Elijah, His favorite hobbies include gardening and learning.

Neuro Integration
Practitioner 

Leanna Rae’s therapeutic experience of over 13 years has allowed her to develop a streamlined, results-driven practice. Neuro Integration and Balancing helps to integrate the functions of the brain and body to work together for increased focus, creativity, emotional balance, and joyful living for all ages. Leanna Rae has her Master's in Social Work and is a certified practitioner in many areas of Neuro Integration techniques and movement modalities. She is a presenter and teacher in personal growth, stress management, Simplicity Parenting, and communication for business, parents, and counselors. Leanna is licensed by the Pastoral Medical Association.

Office Manager

Carolyn has been with the Center for seven years, working to keep the office running smoothly through many transitions. She strives to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere for our patients, and puts a heavy emphasis on great customer service. She received her B.A. in Kinesiology and minor in Psychology at Harding University while playing softball for the school. She later obtained her Phlebotomy Certificate at Weatherford  College.

When she's not coordinating schedules and projects at the Center, you can find Carolyn baking, attending sporting events, and spending time outdoors with her husband Chris and their two dogs.

Patient Coordinator

Katie is the newest member of the Center for the Healing Arts but it feels like she has always been here. Katie has her Associate's Degree from Yavapai Community College and is a licensed massage therapist from Sedona School of Massage. She is already bringing in great ideas for the clinic and is a true team player. Katie has had lots of experience with patient service and coordination in medical and wellness clinics and is always available to help make your experience here the best it can be.
